TeamSnap Info

How EYF uses TeamSnap for rosters, schedules, RSVPs, volunteers, communications, and documents. This page is a quick guide for new families to get set up and confident.

Overview

TeamSnap is our hub for practice and game schedules, RSVP status, volunteer sign-ups, team messaging, and quick updates. After you register, you’ll be added to your team and can use the web or the free mobile app for iOS and Android.

Getting Started

Accept your invite

Join your team

Watch for a TeamSnap invitation sent by an administrator. If you joined the club through registration you may be added automatically. Follow the link in the invite to connect your account. If you already have a TeamSnap account the invite is auto-accepted when you sign in.

Mobile app

Download and log in

Install the free TeamSnap app for iOS or Android and log in with the same email you used for registration or your invite.

Your Dashboards

After you’re rostered, the TeamSnap dashboard shows every team connected to your account under My Teams. Click a team name to open that team’s dashboard for schedule, messages, assignments, and more.

Quick Start Checklist

Customize notifications

Open your team, go to Preferences, and set how you want alerts delivered. Most families keep the defaults and adjust the reminder timing if needed.

Sync your schedule

Want your games and practices in your phone calendar? Subscribe to your TeamSnap schedule so updates roll in automatically.

Update availability

Before each game, respond Yes, No, or Maybe so coaches can plan. Availability is part of paid TeamSnap plans; if your team is on Free, the owner must upgrade to enable it.

Claim volunteer tasks

Open the Assignments tab and claim open jobs like chains, gate, or snack bar. You’ll see slots tied to scheduled events.

Use chat and TeamSnap Live

Team chat keeps the group connected anytime. During games, TeamSnap Live opens an event chat for live scoring, photos, and updates. You can also start direct or group messages.

Volunteers Group

EYF uses a dedicated “Volunteers” TeamSnap group for game-day jobs across all teams. Families are added so they can claim shifts right from the app. If you have trouble finding assignments, contact us and we’ll help you connect to the right group.

Pro tip To watch your child’s game and still meet your hours, volunteer during another team’s game that same day.

RSVPs & Availability

Coaches rely on RSVP responses for headcount. Please tap your availability as soon as reminders arrive so we can staff games appropriately.

Documents

We’ll post items like league rules, forms, and season handouts in TeamSnap. If you can’t find a document, email ephratayouthfootball@gmail.com and we’ll resend it.

Email & Push Notifications

Team messages, event reminders, and changes will arrive by push and/or email based on your preferences. Parents can add family contacts under a player profile so grandparents or caregivers also receive updates

Troubleshooting & FAQ

I never got my invite — what now?
Check spam and confirm which email address was used for registration. If the invite still isn’t found, your admin can resend it or add you directly to the roster so you can log in and accept.
