What EYF Supplies
Helmet
Certified safety helmet provided for the season. Must be turned back in at the end of the year.
Shoulder Pads
Impact-absorbing pads fitted to your player. Must be turned back in at the end of the year.
Integrated Practice Pants
Pants with built-in protective padding. Must be turned back in at the end of the year.
Integrated Game Pants
Official game-day pants with built-in padding. Must be turned back in at the end of the year.
Game Jersey
Your official custom team game jersey to wear proudly and keep after the season finishes!
Basic Mouth Guard
Standard protective mouth guard provided for any players who do not purchase their own.
What Families Provide
Practice Jersey
A practice jersey or a large t-shirt wide enough to fit completely over the shoulder pads.
Cleats
Standard football cleats for field traction and safety during practices and game days.
Premium Mouth Guard
Feel free to bring your own custom lip-guard or specialized brand if you prefer it over our basic stock.
Rib Shirt
Under-armor style padded shirts for extra rib protection may be worn under the shoulder pads.
Football Gloves
Skill or lineman gloves can be worn by players if they prefer them for grip or hand protection.
Athletic Cup
Standard protective cup can be worn under compression shorts/pants if desired.

EYF maintains a community collection of free, gently-used cleats. These are completely free and available to any player who needs a pair for the season. Ask a coach or coordinator at gear handouts!
Have a pair of gently used cleats you no longer need? Bring them with you to any practice or during equipment handouts and we can add them to the free collection.
Uniform Maintenance & Care Guide
Riddell recommends the following washing, drying, and storage procedures to prolong the appearance and extend the life of your uniforms.
Critical Care Rules (DO NOTS)
- DO NOT wash in warm or hot water.
- DO NOT wash whites and colors together.
- DO NOT dry with a dryer. For best results hang dry.
- DO NOT use chlorine bleach.
- DO NOT use fabric softener.
- DO NOT dry clean.
- DO NOT leave wet or damp uniforms in a pile.
1. Preparation
When receiving Riddell apparel you should pull each item out of the package and store hanging. This is important to assure there is no residual wetness from manufacturing and avoid molding. The tackle-twill numbering and lettering will soften after one good wash and completely soften after a couple. This process can be expedited by soaking 30 minutes in cold water before the first wash.
2. Presoaking
Heavily soiled uniforms should be soaked in cold water with a protein release agent for a MAXIMUM of 45 minutes. Uniforms should be washed immediately after presoaking.
3. Washing Guidelines
For uniform longevity and optimal results, wash uniforms immediately after each wearing. If washing cannot take place immediately after wearing, uniforms should be rinsed out and hung on rust proof hangers. Color migration may occur if wet uniforms are piled for laundry, or placed in travel bags while wet or damp.
Wash ONLY in cold water using a mild detergent (pH under 10.0pH). Minimize the mechanical action by keeping the water level high in the washing machine.
4. Drying & Storing
Drying: For best results allow garments to hang dry (particularly those containing Spandex). DO NOT dry with a dryer.
Storing: Uniforms should be completely dry before storing. To prevent mildew and yellowing, uniforms should be stored in a cool, dry area protected from the sunlight and fluorescent light.
